My camera is back to work!

Hello I have being work hard making lovely necklaces, earrings and bracelets. However, my camera has not being do its job. Slacker. Anyhow, my camera is now working and lo and behold, here are some of my new pieces with many more to come!

These earrings are made of fine silver, sterling silver and Swarovski crystals. I just love the little turtles with the Peridot (August)Swarovski crytals! And with autumn just around corner, the leaf earrings are perfect with the Mocha Swarovski crystals!

This necklace is 21.5 inches long and will look great with a turtleneck! I am totally ready for the cooler weather that autumn brings.

Here are a cute pair of summer earrings. They are smoky quartz, freshwater pearl and turquiose and match perfectly with the necklace on the 25th of March post (http://robinanddaughtersdesigns.blogspot.com/2008/03/my-new-pieces.html).

Everything is going well this summer with sales at The Boulevard and gallery Platform 22 in Scotland. I have being learning to knit, believe it or not. However, it is part of the whole plan for Robin and Daughters Designs as well as learning or actually remembering how to sew. Must take a class or two to refresh my memory!

Gallery Crawl this Friday

Also, my in-laws are coming to stay with us for three weeks. Yes, that's right. Three weeks. Which means that I will be working like crazy. Ha ha! I just bought some beautiful Indian Red quartz beads and mosaic shell beads which are great for the summer. So keeping checking back for my new pieces.

Okay, so it did not take the amount of time I expected it to take. I was so excited about making the necklace, I have working all hours on it. It is a lovely 4-strand twisted necklace with sterling silver beads, mother of pearl, Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls, smoky topaz quartz, cracked crystal and a tapestry clasp in sterling silver. The necklace untwisted is 17.5 inches in length. When twisted, it should fit close to your neck, but not like a choker. So here it is!

My Next Creation...

Ahh, my next creation is the most complicated I have attempted yet. This one I will have to have coaching. It is going to be four strands twisted into one necklace with a sterling silver twisted wire crystal pendant. Whew, what an under taking. Like most of my creations, they come at the strangest times and ways. This necklace came while I was twisting some random strands of beads together and I liked the way they looked. I believe you will too. It will take about two weeks for the necklace to amalgamate. So keep checking back!

What a fabulous find! Blueberry Quartz! I absolutely love this color bead. I have created these lovely earrings, necklace and bracelet(I am keeping for myself)with them. Again, something that is diffcuilt to find so I am being a little greedy with the Blueberry beads. But they are so much fun!

Here is my first silver butterfly with aquamarine Swarovski crystal body. I love it! I am going to make them in many different colours, so keeping checking back!

As for the Boulevard Gallery, I will setting up on Tuesday and this Friday night is gallery crawl which should be very exciting! I will post photos as soon as I set up my space.

This turquoise teardrop beaded necklace will certainly attract attention with its rich and bold colour combination. I have always loved brown and blue together but the turquoise brings excitment to such a classic colour combination. This necklace was inspired by a Sophie design. Sophie was playing with the beads and put the mother-of-pearl square beads with the pink plastic flower beads. I thought they looked great together! So here they are. The necklace costs $22.00.

These earrings are turquiose, gold filled beads and gold filled Bali beads and will great for the summer! They cost $12.00.

These hoops lovely for the Springtime with their pink Swarovski crystals and are sterling silver. They are SOLD.

I am having a hard time giving up this necklace. I am excited about all the jewelry I make. However, some pieces seem to be created from my various moods. This one is my strong desire to go to the beach! Note the starfish and the blue gemstone beads, along with the sterling silver beads and Swarovski crystals! It cost $85.00.
